It's that time of the year. A lot of government agencies on Facebook are making posts to remind that consumer fireworks are illegal. However, most of those posts are being met with ridicule and comments criticizing such bans. Does this mean more people are pro-fireworks these days?

I know social media isn't representative of Americans as a whole, but I feel this has some significance.

Fireworks are not Illegal in all but one state[mabey Conn.] New Jersey allowed Safe & Sane fireworks several years ago. It was one of the most restrictive states. More and more states are freeing up their fireworks restrictions.

Fun fact: Connecticut allows sparklers but prohibits novelty items such as trick noisemakers and snakes, which are much safer. It's one of the most ironic things I've ever seen.
