Where: Neodesha, KS
When: Fall 2019, Date TBD

This event includes a whole series of different shows including a FREE community concert with a regional artist.

There are typically 6 or 7 shows featuring a 1.3G Finale by KCAP. There is also a children's show that is put on by young pyro's guided by two or three dads. All of the shows are pyromusicals!

The new shoot site is very good. The city owns lots of acreage around the water treatment plant (the building front serves as a sound stage for bands) and will make more land accessible for displays this year. I did a Google Earth map of the land last year and the site could easily support shooting 12" and 16" shells with more than adequate fallout zones.

The water plant is currently having work done west of the plant at the river. When that area becomes available there will be ample frontage and distance.

I hear there will no longer be a bean field there so that land is ours to shoot from! Anyone got access to a Dr. X 20" salute!? LOL!!!

TotP will indeed be OCT 18th and 19th. A demo and some sort of contest on the 18th and several shows on the 19th. We have the entire field West of the plant. Up to 16" shells are open to shoot. We have commitments for a 1.3 show and I believe we have 3 or 4 1.4 shows to date.
If you are interested in shooting a show, let me know. Also may have a former Grandmaster from PGI bring some 10"and up to shoot.

Just looked at the (Neodesha) "Waterworks Amphitheater" Facebook page. No information about this event to be found there.

Bumping this thread.
10 days away.
Info is now posted on the Waterworks Amphitheater Face book page.

So what are the final details for thunder? Who is going, who is shooting, will we go through with the inauguration sizz boom roast? What is the shape of the field?

Field will be kinda wet. I'm bringing boots. Been raining here about every 3rd day.
Contrary to what was promised, the field to the west is in beans. They were frost burned this morning. (our 1st frost)
The set up will be kinda like last year with a few exceptions. I'll let Dale elaborate on the details.
Guessing that there be 5-6 shows. Hard to tell with the state of a forums....as they are.

Last I heard from Dale is that we are shooting 1.3 in the beans could be mud. I am bringing boots I know of 2 1.3 shows. Brandon and myself and Josh N. Looks like we are setting up like last year 1.4 shows and 1.3 shows will be setup same place 1.3 will have pods out in the beans. I believe that it has changed 3 times already that is all I know oh we are shooting after the band is done I heard 8pm but who knows.

Waterworks music will start around 4:30 and we will start at dark according to them.

Can't imagine that. More of a laid back, but still safe, attitude at Thunder. We'll wait on you to finish.:)
