Tues night my wife left the site after setup to stay with our new puppy, I was shooting our towns show a few miles away, when she heard the flurry of salutes at the end of the show she stroked puppy's head and said "Daddy's done now...."

Start with firecrackers few here and there about 9-10 weeks of age. not too near, 15- 20 yards away. slowly close gap. Lots of treats. My new GSD puppy was fine all through 4th this year. Loud salutes from neighbors didn't phase him. Previous dog I didn't do this. She lived in bathtub from July 1st till it all stopped.
