As a Heads-Up.
Reemerged today!

Claimed a family emergency kept him from shipping or being able to contact me and that he would be sending out my items and providing a Tracking # today.

We'll see...
 
I hate when this happens, been there /done that
were supposed to be a community of like minded enthusiasts and it only takes one bad apple to spoil things

Well,,, so far, No Joy...

Once again no more communication, no tracking, no acknowledgement of a shipment.

The optimist in me wants to think that the "Family Emergency" is ongoing and taking precedence. The realist in me thinks I might have just been scammed :(

I had the same thing happen to me many years ago on the original Pyro U site. Paid for a system and dude just disappeared. Very similar to what your going through now. Hopefully your end results turn out better than mine did. Good luck!
 
Odd thing is, I bought the remote and 18m from him off a Facebook group. They are sitting in my garage.
 
Yea,,, so this guy's gotta be in the Wind. A quick hit & run and now won't answer an email or place a quick call :(

I try to be careful with this stuff, I was going to walk away when he said he didn't take PayPal (had a BS story about having had a eBay store but PayPal took advantage of him and withheld money unjustly - I shudda known better...) but would accept Google Pay. I looked into it and said that I didn't see any Buyer Protection with Google so I was going to have to Pass

Then, I guess he's kinda a pro at this,,,, he suggested that I send him 1/2 and once I received his package and was happy, I could send him the rest. You, know,,, you trust Me ~ I trust You...

I hope he enjoys the crack he bought with my money ~ Miserable Bastard

Yea, he tried saying that if I sent him friends and family or through Facebook he would take 50$ off. I ONLY do deals through goods and services through PayPal. If they don’t like it I’m not buying.

If you look on his facebook page there are a few people making comments within the past week or so. @Blaster can you contact google pay and dispute it or try to dispute it with your credit card? Provide them with screenshots of your conversations. If it happened to multiple people, they may do something about it.
 
So I've finally found the "right guy" at the Nueces County Sheriff's Department in Corpus. He's not any happier with what this little puke is up to than I am and has agreed to help me prosecute him on mail fraud like charges provided I would agree to come to court when they get him (I have a family member who flies all over the country 3-4 days a week and would give me all the air miles I need so it doesn't cost me ~ sounds like an adventure :)). I'm presently assembling all the necessary paperwork and evidence they need to go forward.

Now this would be a Bench Warrant kind of thing, they're not going to send a "team" out to find him or anything, but any interaction he has with the police would result in his arrest. I'm sure this little $hit isn't done with his interactions with Law Enforcement and even a Traffic Stop would have that warrant applied.

So now we wait....
