Anybody else ready for this weekend?

I'm doing a small show tomorrow night. Almost everything is ready, just need to connect a few things in the morning.

I'm stealing your saw horse idea for the candles I'm doing. Glad you posted the pics, better idea then how I was going to do it.

Stay safe, Good Luck and have fun!

I am ready to go do another medium sized show tomorrow. I look forward to having a show on the 4th, which I was not sure would happen.

Lets hope the weather cooperates, it supposed to be in the mid 90s, but if we can avoid rain, I can live with some heat, although lower humidity would help. Its a simple bucket drop show, but with 3-5" shells, it can't be too bad, plus we have been able to do a lot with those kinds of shows so far.

Mechman, that setup looks pretty impressive. Wish we had the time to do something more elaborate. We had a couple of large shows planned where we hoped to do really fancy stuff, but they never happened, sadly. So I'll take anything now...

We started at 8am and finished around 12:30 in mid 80 degree heat with a good amount of humidity. We did set up some pop up tents to help with the direct sunlight but we did not have enough tents for each setup pod. Needless to say I was pretty spent by the end of the setup.

Normally I am pretty busy this week but only have two shows ,one tonight (3rd) and the fourth. I am not even really in the mood this year for fireworks with everything going on.

Here was the shoot from last night. I had a couple issues, but all in all went off pretty smoothly.

This was my setup from the show tonight. This was my easiest setup ever and I only had one shell not fire.

Hope everyone had a great 4th.20200704_154433.jpg

Since I moved last year pyro has taken a slight break as we get projects done inside and outside around the house but also last year despite doing no shows I decided that I am tired of dealing with the heat and humidity every year on the 4th and have elected to move my large aerial show now to sometime in October when the weather is more bearable. Last night I did about 2 hrs of fireworks since we had family over, looks like the plan from now on is spend 4th of July proper at home doing smaller stuff, then do my large display in October.

Cool musical, Thousand Foot Crutch has got some excellent pyro songs. “Light up the Sky!” Is the obvious favorite!
