Have you every wanted to be part of an international fireworks display competition but lacked either the budget, the equipment, the manpower, or all of the above? Well, now is your chance to do so without having to worry about any of the above. Innovative Pyrotechnic Concepts is proud to announce our 1st Annual PyroJam Event. Along with live bands, Kids Zone, food trucks, etc, the main focus of the event is an international firework display competition where anyone (and we mean ANYONE) can participate. Thanks to our partnership with Finale Fireworks if you have a computer, you can enter. It is that simple. Follow the link below to find out the information on how to enter but the "nuts and bolts" of it all is you put together your soundtrack (staying within the time constraints of 9-10 minutes), use the product listed in the PyroJam catalog to design your show (staying within the budget constraints of course) and IPC will setup and fire your show if your design is one of the top three designs chosen out of the entries. It is that simple. You don't have to come to the festival (although you are certainly welcome and the prize money will help with the costs) and if you do, you don't have to lift a finger for setup. So come on and jump on board folks, an opportunity like this doesn't come around too often :-)

so i'm a little confused. is there a songs we have to use or do we pick our own songs that add up to 9 or 10 mins? and lastly i cant seem to get the site template to download in finale 3d even after getting the temporary license. could anyone shed a little light on these 2 things for me. T.I.A.

Hi Kelli, per the competition rules page, "You may pick any songs or music of your choice. There are no pre-selected songs and there is no list of songs from which you must choose."

Using the show design template should be as simple as launching Finale 3D and then going to File > Open, then selecting the design template. If you're still having trouble, please reach out to me at support@finale3d.com.
