I can't seem to find an "Official" thread for this year so thought I would at least throw something out there for folks to post in about the shoot such as who's going, who's shooting, etc, etc. I know I've heard little tid-bits here and there and can tell you I'm stoked about coming out and seeing everyone as well as enjoying what looks to be a great night of fireworks shows. Is anyone else excited about this year's event?

MoPyro is running Sky Wars. From: https://www.facebook.com/skywarsevent/

Public Details and Tickets: SKY WARS – Welcome to SKY WARS

This Party’s Lit
Everyone asks what’s our “secret sauce” to creating a mega hit production. Well, it’s like this.
Secret #1: The people. We have hundreds of volunteers who give it their all when building the most incredible shows in the land.
Secret #2: The choreographers. Unbridled. Unmatched. Unusual. Each pyrotechnician produces surreal displays of perfection.
Secret #3: The shows. Sky Wars will literally ruin your ability to enjoy any other fireworks show. We will elevate your pyrotechnic palate so high that we have to apologize in advance for crushing your future fireworks experiences. Sorry. Our bad.
2020 Schedule of Events
This year’s show breakdown includes the following:
• The National Anthem (accompanied by a spectacular fireworks display)
• A 21-gun salute (honors first responders plus men and women in uniform)
• The Competition (a combination of artistry and ingenuity where Sky Wars limits the specific types and amount of fireworks, the number of electrical matches, and the timeframe)
This year’s participants: Ellery Ho of Fort Wayne, Indiana; Jim Priebe of Liberty, MO; and Scott Smith of Cedar Hill, Missouri
• Unlimited Shows (we take off the handcuffs and let the choreographer include as many fireworks as they’d like. And typically they like A LOT!)
We have two participants this year: Bo Domesick of Dayton, OH who will perform a display called “This Heart of Fire” that includes music that he wrote, sang and produced; and Steve Hinkle of Indiana
• Fireballs (The Fireball Dudes from Memphis, TN, who hold a world record for their signature gasoline fireballs, will display two enormously enormous fireball extravaganzas)
• The Pro Shows (only the licensed professional big boys and girls can light these fireworks up)
This year’s participants: Casabella Pyrotechnics (Lanesville, Indiana); Spirit of 76/Stellar Fireworks (Columbia, MO and Wichita, KS); and a huge closing show by Innovative Pyrotechnic Concepts (Hughesville, MD).
Have you bought your tickets yet? If not, visit skywarsevent.com today so you can experience our “secret sauce” on Sept. 26.

Anyone from the NC area going? I went about 4 or 5 years ago, but might be able to go if I could carpool or catch a ride. I'll even drive a truck if Tim needs an extra driver...

From Pyromania's FB Page:

Dan Haines from Spirit of 76

Shhh. It’s a secret. Dan did share that he has an amazing selection of fireworks right at his fingertips from Spirit of ’76 (which warehouses the largest selection of 1.4g pro fireworks in the USA) plus 1.3g products from Stellar Fireworks in Wichita, Kan. His team will mix and mingle the two types for his 10 to 15 minute show that will showcase $10,000 worth of fireworks product. Hours to design: 40 to 50. Crew to assemble: 10 to 15 people for two days of prep. End result: spine-chilling results and breathless gasps for the Sky Wars audience.

With PGI canceled/postponed thank heavens we still have 1 excellent event. Hell of a lineup this year. I find it comical it’s like only a mile from the crooked winery 🤣

Thanks Tim for getting this started. We had posted a few things in the Pyromania Takeover thread but this is a better place for it.

Registration for Pyros is up at Sky Wars - Missouri Pyrotechnics Association

Hotel information is included on the page. The hotel block is good for a couple more days.

wonders if any vendors delivering .......... big fat roll or 2 yellow Fast fuse , & gerbs 30 sec 10' or the instant biggies

Yeah, I know they have a Facebook page but for us dinosaurs who still enjoy a forum I think folks will appreciate having a place to banter a bit plus Facebook sucks donkey balls.

No doubt, looks to be an awesome night of fireworks for sure. Really excited to see what everyone brings to the table.

I've got prox type stuff like gerbs, flames, etc I could bring for ya Pam, just shoot me an email or PM for a list if you like. I don't have room for much extra but I could put some small stuff in there for ya. Unfortunately, I'm out of fuse so I can't help ya there. See ya soon.

At the Hampton Inn, the room block is under: "Sky Wars", not "Missouri Pyrotechnics Association"

I cannot wait for this event! A bunch of my favorite pyro's are going to be at this event! I haven't got to shoot/work on any shows this year, so I am totally ready! lol! As much as I'm a Facebook person, I like the threads for these events! Thank you for getting it started and everyone posting the information! :)

Hey BTW I will be bringing up a couple of orders. Hit me up if you would like a list. Got room for 50 or so cases.
