UPDATE: ALL 4 TEAMS ARE SET
Yes, we will be doing Blind Pyro this year. We were not able to shoot the shows last year, so that was a real disappointment. This year, we need to make up for that.
Would really like to have 4 teams again, so post in the thread if you have a full team or want to join a team, so we can try to put the teams together.
In case you don't know what Blind Pyro is, you come up with a team of 5 people. 100 bucks to enter. At 3 o'clock on Friday, you get your stash of pyro. At 7 o'clock, you have to be ready to shoot and leave the field. Prizes are $300 to winning team, $100 to 2nd Place, 3rd and 4th place just get made fun of for years to come.
No significant changes to the rules. Each team will get 5-10 cases of pyro to use to design a show. Can't add anything else of your own to the stash, and gotta use it all...can't just pay a fee and take home the goods. Pyromusicals have been the norm now for the last few years. You need to supply design, labor, firing system, equipment/supplies and igniters. I am planning on getting some items to add to the mix to make it more challenging/allow more creativity/make you cuss me out (whichever you like)
5 minute display time limit. Layout in the field will be approximately 300 feet wide, 10 feet deep per display.
That's about all I can think of; if I missed anything, post and I will reply.
